Shirlee (Dodson) Sanders

Private burial will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, with a Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a later date.

She was born on October 17, 1938 in Williston, Tennessee. Shirlee had a heart of gold and would give you her last dime. A devoted homemaker, she joyed in caring for her kids and in her generous spirit, was always glad to look after everyone else's too. Her sweet smile will be so dearly missed.

Preceding her in death is her son-in-law, Grant Jones, Jr and her grandson, Derek Jones.

Survivors include her beloved children, Beth Pace (Jeff), Leigh Jones, and Chris Sanders (Lillian); precious grandchildren, Noél Pace, Janna Jones, Kane Sanders (Jessica), and Joshua Sanders (Logan); darling great-grandchildren, Houston Griggs, Brayden Jones, Breland Sanders, and Isaac Sanders; and in a nod to the continuation of her wonderful legacy, one lovely great-granddaughter on the way, Kamdyn Faye Sanders, who bears Mrs. Shirlee's birth middle name "Faye".
