Shirley Ann Luper

Shirley Ann Luper, 80, passed away in Jackson, Mississippi on November 20, 2019 surrounded by her family.

Shirley was born in Senath, Missouri on July 1, 1939 to Marjorie and T.G. Rickman. Shirley married William D. Luper in 1957. She worked most of her life as a caregiver and found extreme enjoyment from writing poetry.

Shirley is survived by her children, Pamela Ann Hinkle (Glenn), Barbara Luper Earles (David), and William Mark Luper; as well as grandchildren, Jennifer Phillips, Eric Sills, Lindsey Heath, Marley Luper, and Joseph Luper; and great grandchildren, Zachary Wood, Caroline Sills, Brennan Sills, Conner Clogston, and Noah Phillips. She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Luper; and her parents, T.G. Rickman and Marjorie Binkley Rickman.

The family wishes for donations to be made in Shirley’s name to Southside Baptist Church, 800 Raymond Road, Jackson, Mississippi 39204.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
