Sidney Dean Hagen

He was born in Globe, AZ in 1961 to Richard Dean Hagen and Jean Gladdish Hagen, and was raised as a preacher’s kid, living in several parts of the southern United States.

Sid attended Bob Jones University and mastered in Bible/Theology, and gave his life to King Jesus his freshman year. During his summers at BJU he served on the Canadian Missions team where he met his lovely wife of 39 years. They were married in the summer of 1986.

Sid eventually settled outside of Greenville, SC, where he built his home, and raised his family of three sons. He was a member of Community Bible Church since 1992, and served for many years in Sunday school classes.

Sid started his self-employed business specializing in HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing, and reliably serviced the greater Greenville area for 30+ years.

Sid was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, a friend to all, and a vital part of the community, and will be greatly missed by those who love him.

Sid was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Jean, his brother Timothy, and is survived by his wife, Dianne, his three sons, Benjamin (spouse Emily), Jeremiah, and Nathaniel (spouse Sarah), and his four grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Community Bible Church (Easley, SC) on Saturday May 10th, 2025, at 2:00PM EDT. 8005 Hwy 81 N, Easley, SC 29642.

All family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Sid’s life on earth, and resurrected life in heaven.
