Stephen was born December 18, 1956 in Hazlehurst, a son of the late Homer Lee Douglas and Maurice Johnson Douglas. He worked for many years as a sheetrock installer in the construction business.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Rachelle Douglas; son, Stephen L. Douglas, Jr.; daughters, Macayla Nicole Douglas, Kimberly Dawn Douglas and Crystal Nicole Douglas; brother, Gerald Douglas; and sisters, Patricia Williamson, Nita Sanford, Rita Wade and Janet McNease.
