Tennie Faye McPeake, 89, of Pearl, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am, Wednesday, September 9, 2020, in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Faye was born July 31, 1931, in Union County, Mississippi, a daughter of the late John Lacy Boyd and Minnie Mae Thomason Boyd.

She retired from the Krystal Company after more than 30 years of dedicated service at the Terry Road location. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, embroidery, reading, word books, and jigsaw puzzles. Faye’s favorite times were spent with her family, especially her precious grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. McPeake.

Survivors include children, Bill Ard (Fairland), Jerry McPeake, Virginia Davis, Margaret Woods, and Jean Rothery Gunter (Van); grandchildren, Emily Hollis (Drew), Katie Puckett (Adam), Ryan Ard (Maggie), Dana Garcia, Richie Davis, Carmen Vedder, Don Woods (Martie), Dustin Rothery, Shane Rothery (Liz), and Tanner Rothery; 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Faye was my father-in-law’s (Roy E Boyd) youngest sister. I only was around her a few times so the pictures were an insightful glimpse of her life. Our thoughts are with you during this time.
