Terry Wayne Huhn, a long-time resident of Pearl, Mississippi and a proud United States Army Vietnam Veteran, passed away on August 21, 2026. Born on November 9, 1949, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, he was the son of Minnette K. Huhn.
Terry’s life was filled with passions. He dedicated over four decades to racing dirt racecars, proudly wearing the number five. He also enjoyed deer hunting and cherished his pets. His love for his family was unwavering, and he traveled extensively across the southern United States for races, bringing his pets along for rides to hunting clubs and visits to his loved ones.
Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Carolyn Stuart Huhn, and her daughter, Tanis Stuart. He is survived by his son, Terry Wayne Huhn Jr., of Mesquite, New Mexico; his daughter, Natashia Lynn Monk (Charles Kevin), of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and six grandchildren, including Kassandra Huhn, Stacy Huhn, Tracy Huhn and Terry Huhn III of El Paso, Texas, David Whitton Jr. and Jacob Whitton of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Terry’s pallbearers will be Terry Huhn Jr., Gene Newman, Danny McElroy, Mark Stoddard, Scott Slay, and Terry Huhn III. Honorary pallbearers will include Denver Smith, Ronnie Walker, David Whitton Jr., Jacob Whitton, and Charles Kevin Monk.
Visitation will be held at Baldwin Lee Funeral Home in Pearl on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10 a.m. Funeral services will commence at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Jim Spikes, and will be followed by interment at Concord Cemetery in Pelahatchie, Mississippi.
