Thomas E. Robinson, 74, died on Sunday, October 17, 2010 in Jackson. He was born in Taylorsville, MS on October 25, 1935 and was the second of four boys born to Vernie and Louise Robinson. Tom graduated from Taylorsville High School and went on from there to serve four years in the United States Air Force. He spent the major portion of his life in the finance business and was a highly successful business man. He is survived by his former wife of 39 years, Carolyn Robinson; daughter, Sherri Robinson Jurney; son-in-law, Ron Jurney; grandson Jacob Thomas Jurney; brother, Don Robinson and his wife Elaine; and numerous nieces and nephews, with two being more like a sons, Dan Robinson and Dwayne Jones.
Visitation and funeral services will be held at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, MS Tuesday, October 19, 2010 with visitation from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm and funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm. Graveside services will be held at Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, MS at 4:00 pm.
