Timothy was born in Fresno, California on August 31, 1969 to his parents, the late Hardy Eugene Irwin and Nancy Irwin. He lived in different places when he was younger, because his father worked for the railroad. In the late 80's, the family settled in Fannin/Brandon and that is where he affectionately called home . Many family gatherings were held there and many memories for the entire family were made there. His favorite place when moving around was Virginia, where he always commented how beautiful and peaceful it was there.
He was capable of just about anything, especially when it came to painting, wall covering, sheetrock, doors, floors and more. There wasn't anything that he did not try to do the very best and he never did half the job. Up until the day he passed, he was working and his supervisor stated that he was asking to stay later, which is a true testament to his work ethic.
He never stopped thinking about that black Trans Am that his mom sold while he was at the coast when he was younger. He said it was the 'Smokey and the Bandit car', and he thought about that car all the time. He had so much to tell and he told all those stories to Matt and Dylan over and over, as well as so many other memories that they will share with their children one day about their grandfather.
He is survived by his sons Timothy Dylan Irwin (Haley) and James Matthew Irwin, his mother Nancy Irwin, his brothers Steven Irwin and Christopher Irwin (Jamie), his partner of 35 years Jeanenne, his niece Nicki Irwin and nephews Storm Irwin and Gabe Irwin, plus many aunts and uncles that were very special to him.
He is preceded in death by his father Hardy Eugene Irwin, his paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.
We think his favorite remark about himself was "he is like a bull in a china cabinet". He had his obstacles throughout life just like all of us. We loved him and will miss him every single day. We will cherish every fun and good memory and every special moment we had with him.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, Mississippi. He will be laid to rest at Fannin Methodist Church Cemetery in Fannin, Mississippi on June 25, 2026 at 2:00 pm.
