Tony was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Tom F. and Eddie Mae Dority on April 3, 1957. He attended Florence High School and graduated from the Union Electrical Program, retiring as an electrician in 2017. Tony was a proud member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bowling, but received the most enjoyment from loving on his grandbabies.
Tony is survived by his wife, Sherry Dority; son, Josh Dority (Sandy); grandsons, Blake and Caleb Dority; sister, Dawna Gail Davis; brother, Clyde Dority; several nieces and nephews, as well as a few half brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister, Judy Gros.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 10:00 am at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home, preceded by a visitation from 9:00 until 10:00 am. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
