BRANDON, MS
Mr. Vernon (Ron) Hilt, 61, passed away suddenly at his home on January 26, 2011. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Chapel in Pearl with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 1-3 PM.
Vern, a native of Pennsylvania, had lived in Mississippi since 1981. He was formerly employed with Aurora Casket Company. All who knew Vern knew of his love for animals and cared for them passionately.
He is survived by his wife, Terri G. Hilt; son, Zach (Moose) Hilt, who was the love of his life, both of Brandon; sister, Judy Myers (Norm) of Lancaster PA; numerous nieces, nephews and friends, as he never met a stranger.
