PEARL, MS
Mr. Vindex Upchurch, Jr. 80, passed away December 16, 2011 peacefully at his home with his family and was welcomed into God’s Kingdom with great rejoicing.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Chapel in Pearl with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 3-6 PM at Baldwin-Lee.
Mr. Upchurch was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army. He was member of Trinity Baptist Church in Pearl and was an employee of the US Postal Service from 1958-1990.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jimmie Sue Worrell Upchurch of Pearl; son, Ray Upchurch (Dawn) of Brandon; daughter, Janet Gresham (Perry) of Taipei, Taiwan; five grandchildren, Megan and Emily Upchurch, Jake, Cole and Ethan Gresham.
