He was a life-long resident of Pearl, Mississippi. A graduate of Pearl High School and a huge MS State Bulldog fan. He lived life to the fullest. His professional career was full of adventure. From the Florida everglades to -40 below in the oil field in North Dakota. He never turned down an opportunity to travel, work hard and provide for his family.
He was married to Candace Kay Williams Sartor for 20 years. They resided in Pearl, MS and they had one child, Elizabeth Kay Sartor Langford, she was the light of his life.
He is survived by his only child, Elizabeth (Chris) of Florence, MS; his precious granddaughter, Alexis Langford of Pearl, MS; his mother, Daisy Kay Blakeney Sartor of Pearl, MS; his siblings, Betty Langford (Benji) of Brandon, MS. Jan Baker (Boo) of Brandon, MS and Tony Sartor (Kris) of Springs, TX. As well as many cherished nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Walter Sartor and his 2 sisters Carol Sartor Murray and Sandra Sartor.
His infectious laugh and laid back personality will be missed by so many people. A jokester that was famous for his cooking skills, ability to build and/or make anything you could imagine and his big black Stetson cowboy hat.
A memorial service is scheduled for July 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at Baldwin-Lee in Pearl, MS, with a visitation directly before the service at 10:00 a.m.
The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Brandon Nursing and Rehab for their efforts, care and dedication.
