Amparo Williams

Amparo Williams, 72, of Houston, Texas, passed away on February 24, 2022. She was born in Cali, Colombia on May 12, 1949. While in Cali, she attended the following schools: Rafael Zamorano, Colegio Moderno, Instituto La Hera (specialization in Commercial Secretary Studies), and Liceo Valle del Cauca. She moved to Houston, TX in 1985. She completed her biblical certification from the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, TX in 2006. Throughout her educational career, she met her husband Sandy Williams and was married to him for 41 years before he was called home to be with the Lord in 2017.

Amparo Williams enjoyed working in providing meals for students in Fort bend ISD. She also dedicated herself to serving in the ministry along with her husband Pastor Sandy Williams. She had a great and unbreakable passion in serving others by visiting the sick and teaching Sunday School. She loved engaging in leadership roles in various Christian organizations. Amparo loved the Lord with all her heart and served the Lord throughout her lifetime. Amparo enjoyed spending time with both her family and spiritual family.

She is survived by her children: Glenn Alan Williams, Dwight Anders Williams, Jeff Wayne Williams. Grandchildren: Jayden Williams, Daryn Williams, Nathaniel Williams, Luke Williams. She is survived by sibling Nancy Montalvo.

A service to celebrate the life of Amparo Williams will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 Pm at Forest Park South Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the funeral home. A committal service will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Amparo Williams, falleció a sus 72 años, en Houston, Texas el 24 de febrero de 2022. Ella nació en Cali, Colombia el 12 de mayo de 1949. Mientras vivió en Cali, Amparo completó sus estudios en las siguientes aulas escolares: Rafael Zamorano, Colegio Moderno, Instituto La Hera ( Especialización en estudios de secretariado comercial) Y Liceo Valle del Cauca. Ella emigró a los Estados Unidos en 1985 y se estableció en Houston, TX donde completo su certificación bíblica en el Colegio de Estudios Bíblicos en el año 2006. Durante el transcurso de sus estudios, Amparo conoció a su esposo Sandy Williams y estuvieron casados por 41 años hasta que él fue llamado a su eterno descanso en el año 2017.

Amparo Williams disfrutó trabajar para el distrito escolar de Fort Bend ISD.

Ella se dedicó a servir en el ministerio pastoral junto a su esposo, el pastor Sandy Williams. Amparo tenía una pasión inmensa e indestructible en servir a los demás y lo demostraba continuamente al visitar a los enfermos y al impartir lecturas en la Escuela Dominical. Ella disfrutaba participar en roles de liderazgo en varias organizaciones Cristianas. Amparo amaba al Señor con todo su corazón y sirvió al Señor durante el transcurso de su vida. Amparo disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia y familia espiritual.

Le sobrevive su Familia, integrada por; sus Hijos: Glenn Alan Williams, Dwight Anders Williams y Jeff Wayne Williams. Nietos: Jayden Williams, Daryn Williams, Nathaniel Williams, Luke Williams, así como su hermana Nancy Montalvo.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo de 7:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m., el 4 de marzo de 2022 y el servicio de despedida y entierro se realizará de 12:00 p. m. a 1:30 p. m. en Forest Park South Funeral Home
