Arnoldo Benitez

Arnoldo Benitez, 58, was born on November 5, 1967, in Turitzio, Michoacán, Mexico, and passed away on August 25, 2026. He was a longtime resident of Houston, Texas. Arnoldo will be remembered with deep respect for the steady devotion he brought to his life, and for the spirit of adventure that showed in his love of the outdoors and traveling.

Through years of effort and responsibility, Arnoldo built a life defined by work ethic and perseverance. He worked two jobs—one as an orthodontic lab tech and the other as a bartender—approaching each day with diligence and pride. Those who knew him also recall a man who was polite and lovable, offering warmth and courtesy that made others feel welcome in his presence.

Family was the center of Arnoldo’s world. He adored his family and was deeply protective of them. He and his wife, Maria Magdalena Sanchez, shared 41 years together after meeting in Mexico, a bond marked by loyalty and enduring love. Arnoldo held fond memories of spending holidays and birthday parties with his brothers, and he especially loved having all of his children together at his home. His grandchildren knew just how to make him laugh, and those moments of joy will remain a treasured part of his legacy.

Arnoldo’s faith and community were also important to him. He was a member of Una Fuente en el Desierto church, where he found fellowship and spiritual grounding.

Arnoldo is preceded in death by his father, Javier Benitez. He is survived by his wife, Maria Magdalena Sanchez; his mother, Emma Benitez; his daughter, Vanessa Martinez; his sons, Arnoldo J. Benitez, Erick Benitez, and Kevin Benitez; his sister, Fabiola Benitez; his brothers, Armando Benitez, Alvaro Benitez, Miguel Benitez, and Misael Benitez; and his grandchildren, Giselle Benitez, Nathanael Benitez, Naomi Benitez, and Adaline Martinez.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park South Funeral Home, 12650 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, TX 77584, on August 31, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on September 1, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Funeral Service will follow at Forest Park South Funeral Home on September 1, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Committal Service will take place at Paradise Cemetery South, 2237 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581, on September 1, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Arnoldo will be laid to rest at Paradise South Cemetery, 2237 Cullen Blvd, Pearland.

Arnoldo guardaba gratos recuerdos de pasar las fiestas y las celebraciones de cumpleaños con sus hermanos, y especialmente le encantaba tener a todos sus hijos reunidos en su casa. Sus nietos sabían exactamente cómo hacerlo reír, y esos momentos de alegría permanecerán como una parte preciada de su legado.
