

Bobby attended Jonas Henderson High School, Grambling University and TSU. Where he developed long lasting friendships.
Bobby later moved to Houston, Texas where he eventually met Dietria. They later married on February 14, 1977. They enjoyed 46 beautiful years of marriage and created many fond memories together.
Bobby loved to learn and frequently visited local libraries to read and research. Bobby also continued to take classes throughout his life when a subject interested him. He was a walking encyclopedia, full of knowledge.
Bobby was a fervent Bible reader. He never held back on speaking about what he learned from God's word the Bible with anyone he met.
Bobby possessed an impeccable memory which he often used to share the most embarrassing or goofy stories about family members. He was a jokester always making those around him laugh. Whether it was his silly antics like racing alongside your car or his slick jokes he kept you laughing.
Bobby was a very generous individual. Whether it was volunteering at the Pentacle, assisting with the food bank, or clothing drives, he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Bobby was a beloved brother, who enjoyed his lunch dates with his siblings and hanging around his sister's home reminiscing about the good ole days and enjoying good food.
Bobby loved his family dearly. You could catch him frequently roaming the halls of his children's school where everyone knew Mr. La Saint. He was a supportive father and grandfather making it a priority to support them at sporting events, band performances and recitals. He was there "grinning from ear to ear like a chestercat" as he would say.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and older brother. Bobby leaves behind his beloved siblings, wife of 46 years, children and their spouses, grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
