

Chris Liem Huynh, a man known for his generous, honest, and humorously lighthearted nature, passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 44. Born on August 30, 1981, in Freeport, Texas, Chris was a kind-hearted, loyal, selfless, and thoughtful individual. He was an amazing dog-dad, devoted husband, and a loving father, remembered fondly by all who knew him.
A resident of Manvel, Texas, Chris graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's Degree, fueled by his love for football to achieve degrees in Media Production and Communications. He was a proud U of H Cougar and an active member of the Lambda Phi Epsilon fraternity, affectionately known as the “Lambdas.” His time with the Lambdas formed lifelong bonds and remained an important part of his identity. This academic and social journey eventually led him to a later passion—computer programming, a field he mastered through self-teaching.
Chris was married to his loving wife, Cyndi Ha Huynh, for 11 years, and together they were proud parents to their daughter, Alyssa. Chris was also a proud dog-dad to the heavenly Precious and cherished Perla and Princess.
In his personal life, Chris enjoyed football, fishing, and spending quality time with his family, as well as watching Marvel movies. A proud multiple-time fantasy football champion, he also loved singing and participating in karaoke sessions. Additionally, he shared a special bond with his daughter, Alyssa, playing Roblox together and creating treasured memories.
Chris is survived by his wife, Cyndi Ha Huynh, his daughter, Alyssa, his father, Minh Huynh, and his sisters, Thao Huynh and Frances Uyen Huynh Escobedo. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thuy Thanh Tran.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Chris's life at the Forest Park South Funeral Home, Celestial Tides Chapel, located at 12650 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, Texas. A visitation will be held on October 6, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a second visitation on October 7, 2025, during the same hours.Wednesday, October 7th, will be the third visitation period for family and friends to gather from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, at the same location.
Chris Liem Huynh will be dearly missed, yet his spirit remains woven into the lives of those he touched with his presence. His legacy of kindness, loyalty, and love continues to inspire and bring smiles to those fortunate enough to have known him.
