It is with deep love and gratitude that we celebrate the life of Hazel Norma Wilson, a devoted mother, beloved family member, faithful friend, and woman of unwavering faith.
Born in Rayne, Louisiana, Hazel was known for her intelligence, kindness, elegance, and radiant smile. An honor student with a lifelong love of reading and learning, she later built a successful career in business administration, including many years of service with the AFL-CIO in Houston.
Hazel faced the loss of her eyesight with extraordinary courage and determination. Through her resilience, faith, and independence, she inspired everyone who knew her. She never lost her love for fashion, dancing, family gatherings, and meaningful conversations, and she embraced every opportunity to stay connected to those she loved.
Her greatest joy was being a mother. She leaves behind her beloved sons, Larry Julian Wilson and Justin James Wilson, who will forever cherish her love, wisdom, and unwavering support. She also lovingly remembered her precious twin daughters, Christina Wilson and Chrystal Wilson, who were lost at birth and remained forever in her heart.
Hazel will be remembered for her grace, strength, compassion, and enduring faith. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, perseverance, and kindness will continue to live on through her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
Visitation will be held at Forest Park South Funeral Home, 12650 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, TX 77584, US, on July 18, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
