

Born on April 9, 1950, in Amarillo, Texas, Roger was a graduate of Palo Duro High School. In 1980, he ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing a banking software company, McCoy Myers and Associates, which he led as President until his retirement in 2014.
Throughout his life, Roger dedicated himself to various organizations and clubs. His contributions notably include his involvement with the High Plains Drifters Soccer Club, the Boy Scouts of America, the Potter County Livestock Association, Hillside Christian Church, Amarillo, and Redemption Church, Houston.
Roger was predeceased by his parents, Mack and Naomi McCoy, and three of his siblings. His legacy lives on through his family, including his six children: Greg, Amy, Ryan, Ty, Zack, and Jacob; as well as his 15 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his brother Jerry.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Roger’s life will be held at 3 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Forest Park South Funeral Home, 12650 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, TX 77584.
