John Jones

John was born on September 17, 1952 in Cleveland, Tx, the son of John E Jones Sr. and Dorothy Taylor. He grew up in Sheppard, Tx, where he developed a kind and gentle heart, a great sense of humor, and a deep love for family. After graduating high school, he went on to pursue a career in trucking in which he dedicated the rest of his life.

A husband to Karen Sarafin, John was a pillar of strength and support for his family. Together they raised one child, Shaun Jones. He was a devoted father, always there to offer guidance, love, and a hearty laugh. He cherished family gatherings and his presence at holidays and celebrations brought warmth and joy to those around him.

John had many passions in life, including Hunting, fishing, barbequing, and reading about the old west.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen, his son, Shaun, his sister Peggy, and his brothers James, Paul, and Mark, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

The funeral service to celebrate John Jones Jr.’s life will be held on December 10, 2025 at Forest Park South located 12650 Shadow Creek Pkwy, Pearland, Tx 77584, from 6:00-8:00pm.

Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects. Mass will be held at St. Helens Catholic Church located 2209 Old Alvin Rd, Pearland, Tx 77581 at 10:00am on December 11, 2025, followed by burial services.
