Patricia Ann Sam

Patricia Ann Strange Sam, age 68, passed away peacefully on September 12th, 2025 at home. Born on December 11, 1956, Patricia Ann Sam was a beloved Mother and grandmother aka "Nana". She leave behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Patricia accepted the lord at the early age at her forever church home Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church in Beaumont, TX. Later she joined and became a member of Silverlake Church in Pearland, Texas.

Patricia was known for her loving spirit to family and friends, fashionable style, her unconditional love for her children and grandchildren, her nickname Pat, and her full spiritual belief of our lord and savior. Her hobbies were shopping, going to different restaurants, cooking, and she had a passion for sewing in her early years. She loved celebrating with numerous of friends at events and parties. She loved working with children, traveling out of town and helping her daughter Tracey with the balloon party business. Patricia graduated from Charlton Pollard High School in Beaumont, TX Class of 1975- Go Bulldogs, she was a member of Pollardette and also won best dressed in high school. Patricia had a long-standing passion for banking and dedicated many years to the industry. She retired from Educators First Credit Union in Beaumont before continuing to work as a paraprofessional in Pearland, Texas.

Patricia was an employee of Alvin ISD-she had the role of a paraprofessional working as a library aide. She dedicated 4 Years of service at Shadow Creek High School making a significant impact on the students. Patricia's commitment and passion for working at the school inspire those around her. Patricia loved getting out and celebrating life, she was a Dallas Cowboys football fan and loved spending time with loved ones.

Family and friends will always remember Patricia as the outgoing, loving, caring and god fearing woman. Patricia found joy in raising her grandchildren, being with family and friends and going to church. Her warm smile, compassionate heart, and loving spirit captured the love of everyone she encountered.

Patricia Ann Sam leaves leaves to cherish and continue her legacy to her 3 children - Maritza Sam, Michael Sam and Tracey Sam Griffin (son in law- Derrick Griffin, Sr.) 4 grandchildren- Ciara Key (Jesse Key), Marquel Richmond, Derrick Griffin, Jr., Karter Sam, and great-great grandchild Anaya Key. Family Members (Siblings) - Earnest Lewis (Ivy Lewis), Leonard Lewis, Clarice Strange, Mary Washington, Freddie Strange, Sharon Reed, Michael Strange, Tommy Strange (Priscilla Strange) And a host of nieces and nephews. Patricia is preceded in death by both parents father Henry Strange and mother Mary Louise Strange Valrie and brother Alex Strange, Sr.
