Paulino Miranda Lozano, age 80, passed away on August 11, 2026. Born on June 1, 1946, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Paulino built a life marked by steady perseverance and an unwavering commitment to providing for those he loved. A resident of Houston, Texas, he will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude by all who knew him.
Through years of honest work and long days on the road, Paulino exemplified the dignity of labor. He worked as a truck driver up into retirement, meeting responsibility with endurance and purpose, and earning the admiration of family and friends for the strength he carried quietly and consistently.
Paulino shared 57 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Maria Elena Lozano. Their life together stood as a testament to devotion, constancy, and the kind of partnership built through time, sacrifice, and steadfast love.
Paulino was preceded in death by his father, Godfrey Lozano; his mother, Natalia Miranda; and his brothers, Luis Morales and Manuel Lozano.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Elena Lozano; his daughters, Natalia Lozano Herrera (Jesus Herrera) and Michelle Lozano; his son, Paulino M. Lozano Jr. (Monica Lozano); his sisters, Elida Tovar, Anna Castillo, Sonia Vega, Blanca Mireles, and Maria Nela Posuelos; his brothers, Faustino Lozano, Esteban Lozano, and Godfrey Lozano; and his grandchildren, Nathan A. Herrera, Matthew I. Herrera, Samuel Lozano, Jason Lozano, and Joseph Lozano.
Visitation will be held at Forest Park South Funeral Home, 12650 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, TX 77584, on August 21, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will take place at Forest Park South Funeral Home on August 21, 2026, beginning at 6:00 pm.
A Committal Service will be held at South Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX, on August 22, 2026, at 11:00 am.
