Born June 7, 1943 in Smithville, Texas to Arthur and Lorene (Klink) Tumilty, he married Sharon M. Monroe on August 31, 1971 in Pekin. She died on November 6, 2004 in Peoria. He also was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are three sons, A. Michael (Tasha) Tumilty Jr., Zac J. (Jessica) Tumilty and Antony (Heike) Goodin, all of Pekin; two daughters, Ashley M. Tumilty of South Pekin and Kami (Tony) Rice of Washington; seven grandchildren; one brother, Steve (Denise) Tumilty of Tremont and one sister, Cindy (Jerry) Maquet of Plant City, Florida.
Mike served his country in the United States Army.
He was a conductor for Chicago Northwestern Railroad Company for over twenty years.
He was of the Catholic faith.
There will be no visitation or services. Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
