Born December 28, 1960 in Pekin to Ira Lee and Barbara Lee (Oates) Clemons, he married Brenda K. Yost on September 21, 1984 in Pekin.
Surviving are two sons, Ryan (Kayla) Clemons of Bloomington, IN and Brandon Clemons of East Peoria; one granddaughter, Kelsie Clemons and one sister, Janet Gamba of Pekin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Linda Clemons Norris.
Scott had previously worked for Lutz Excavating and Monge Property Management, both in Pekin.
He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed running.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. No services are planned.
