I remember meeting Alice one yr when the Vietnam buddies held their reunion in Pekin I'll.
Kay & Gary & family and Alice came to join us.. it was fun. Alice was a fun lady. Will always remember her.. 
You all have my sympathies. God has his arms wrapped around you all.

My sister, had the love of Jesus in her heart and showed that love to everyone. She was a mother to all and a mentor to me all my life, her prayers will be remembered by many because she was a prayer worrior and would pray for you until God answered  that prayer.  She never knew a stranger, many many times when we would be out we would be walking along an all of a sudden shed turn quickly  to stop some stranger we didn't know to ask them if they knew Jesus as their personal Saviour or just to tell them Jesus loves you, and then pray for them before we'd leave them. I never seen anyone of them turn her away. The world is missing the witness of a great lady, but her witness and prayers will be answered, just because she cared enough to pray for you and me. I'll miss you so my sweet sissy rest in Jesus arms, you are finally HOME.


One of my favorite memories of my momma is our talks about God. She was very knowledgeable about the word. She was a very dedicated and servant of God. She never wavered on how she believed. She loved unconditionally. I miss momma so much, and I can't wait to see her again. With all the love ones that has gone before us.

So saddened to hear of sis. Alice passing. I remember such fun times growing up with her and Donna. Such great happy memories of attending church in south Pekin. Keeping you all in prayer.

Alice loved JESUS and loved her Dear Family! She was loved and will be missed until the great Reunion Day in Heaven.

40 Years ago I made this Amazing Woman a Grandma for the first time. I was Blessed to have been able to spend everyday of my child hood with her and what a Honor it has been to have her in life. There are so many memories I have but my favorite would have to be Sundays as a little girl sitting in Church and as a Woman drinking coffee with her. My Grandma defines the truth definition of love and what it should be. She was a  remarkable Prayer Warrior for her Family and all who she met along the way.  Life won't be the same with out her but I know she is up in Heaven with my Grandpa in Peace. 

Mama Alice took me in as her other daughter and treated me like I was her own child. Many times, she would come knocking on my door no matter the time, and tell me that God sent her to pray for me. Every time she prayed for me, I knew she had reached heaven on my behalf. When I didn't have enough faith of my own, she had enough for the both of us. 

Mama was a prayer warrior that practiced what she preached. She leaves behind such a legacy in the multitude of people she touched. She was kind, humble, and most definitely a servant of God. The twinkle in her eyes and the smile  on her face when she spoke of heaven made me work harder for the Lord so I can make heaven as well.  I have no doubt that she heard well done they faithful servant as she entered glory. She fought a good fight and with Satan under feet, Mama is running down the streets of gold praising Jesus. 

I will miss my Mama praying for me and mine, but she passed the torch onto us to continue her earthly ministry. My prayer will be that I can be half the woman and warrior that she was. I know she will be waiting for our reunion in heaven and what a day that will be. Until then, I will make sure to live what she taught me. I love you Mama and will meet you underneath the shady pines along the crystal sea. 

My father was in the Navy, so I didn't get to grow up all the time near my grandmother. She would send cards or letters and always end them with xoxoxoxo. That became our thing. Anytime we said goodbye we'd say Hugs... Kisses... and then give air kisses to each other. All of those exchanges with her are a blessing for me to look back on. I love you! *Hugs & Kisses Grandma* Love forever, your Princess.
