She was born March 4, 1980 in Peoria to Kerry Lee Blunier and Shelia Marie Radley.
Surviving are her father, Kerry (Michelle) Blunier of Poolville, Texas; two sons, Ryan Lee Baker of Peoria and Jacob Baker; one daughter, Jenna Baker; three sisters, Amanda Blunier of Pekin, Magan (Blunier) Shaw of Texas, Kaylee (Blunier) Lamb of East Peoria; five nieces ; two nephews and her significant other, Andrew Baker of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her mother; one brother, Ryan Kircher; her paternal grandparents, Cliff and Joann Blunier; her maternal grandmother, Sheila Radley and her great-grandparents, Rose and Norman Radley.
Amber worked many years in payroll and accounting for several companies. She eventually changed rolls and became a stay at home mother for her children.
She spent the last 14 years with her significant other Andrew building memories together and raising their son, Ryan and their adopted children, Jenna and Jacob.
Amber enjoyed traveling and had taken trips to Las Vegas. She had also lived in several states including Texas, Indiana and Arizona. She spent her time reading, watching movies and going swimming. Amber loved spending quality time with her son Ryan, they were best-friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her nieces, Ashlyn and Alahna, who she shared a close bond with. Amber will be truly missed by everyone and never forgotten.
Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Guidelines regarding social distancing and wearing of masks will be followed.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
