Born May 13, 1914 in Wilsnack, Germany to Ferdinand and Augusta (Pogurnus) Huse, she married Thomas Alvin Hibbert in April 1933 in Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1978, 1 brother, Richard Huse and 1 sister, Erna Lane.
Surviving are a son, Richard Hibbert of South Pekin; 6 grandchildren, David (Linda) Hibbert of East Peoria, Janet (Robert) Adkins of Summun, Joyce (Fredric) Barlow of Chillicothe, Bonnie Hibbert of Bartonville, Douglas Hibbert of Mapleton, and Rick (Mary) Huse of South Pekin.
A homemaker, she was of the Lutheran faith.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Kingston Mines Cemetery.
