Anna Mae Rudd, 64, of Glasford, IL passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Unity Point Health-Pekin. She was born August 30, 1955 in Pekin, IL to Gaylen “Gale” and Marcella (Atkinson) Black.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie Leveque McCarthy, Nancy Rudd Applen and Kathryn Rudd Hursh; grandchildren, Penelope McCarthy, William Applen, Evan Applen, Doug Hursh, EmmaLee Hursh and Arriana Hursh; two brothers, Edward Black and Kim Black; one sister, Sharon Black Folsom; Max “Dutch" Graham, David L. Rudd; and many cousins, nieces, nephews as well as many other children, grandchildren, and great-grandson that she loved and cared for like her own. Anna never knew a stranger and was called “Mom” by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Erin McCarthy; and Dale Leveque and Scott Beecham.

Per her wishes cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. Visitation will be held an hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Anna's Life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the American Legion, 11319 S. Glasford Rd, Glasford, IL 61533.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Anna Rudd Memorial Fund via the Glasford Bank.

I loved this wonderful woman. She had more energy than some 2 year olds! I was always in awe of her and her dedication to her children and grandbabies. She seemed to light up a room as she entered. We all will miss her and her big bright smile.
