

She was born May 17, 1944 in Pekin to Walter Adam and Florence Elizabeth (Garmann) Fuelberth.
Surviving are one brother, John H. (Barbara) Fuelberth of Pekin; one niece, Vonda L. (Patrick) Zehr of Morton; one nephew, Brian J. (Ann) Fuelberth of Pekin; and three grandnephews, Zachary G. Fuelberth, August S. Fuelberth, and Ryan P. Zehr.
Her parents preceded her in death.
She was a member of Saint John's (Sand Prairie) Lutheran Church in rural Green Valley, and its Epiphany Society. She assisted her mother as a Sunday School teacher for many years. A life-time member of Weight Watchers, she achieved her goal in 1971.
Barbie had great joy in caring for her pet cats and had many cat-related collectibles. She also enjoyed her family, particularly her niece and nephew, and watching baseball games on television.
Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Saint John's Lutheran Church in rural Green Valley. The Rev. Thomas R. Wenndt and DCE William Krueger will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:45 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Sand Prairie Cemetery in rural Green Valley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran School, 333 State Street, Pekin, Illinois 61554.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.
