Barbara A Moore

CREVE COEUR ~ Barbara Ann Moore,77, of Creve Coeur, passed away at 10:28 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2013 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Born February 21, 1936 in Pekin, to Leroy and Woneta (Thomas) Ewers, she married Calvin "Norman" Moore on December 6, 1968 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Mark (Kim) Riedlinger of Kingman, AZ; three daughters, Laurie (Greg) Mounce of Goodfield, Linda (Kally) Riedlinger of Creve Coeur, and Janet (Jon) Wilcox of Bushnell; two step-daughters, Paige Moore of Los Angeles, California and Diane Moore of Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Donna Thomas of Peoria, and MaryJo Astel of Bartonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara was a domestic engineer, aka "housewife", caring for her children.

A wannabe "Grandma Moses", she loved painting, making crafts and sewing in her spare time.

Cremation rites will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. There will be no services or visitation.
