Born February 4, 1968 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Edna Wasfaret, she married Sean Poston in Peoria in 1986, they later divorced. She then married Eric Tindall. He survives.
Also surviving are her daughters, Jessica (Jared) Poston and Cheyenne Poston, both of Pekin; two sisters, Suzy (John) Hendrick of Pekin and Trisha Gahagan of Wisconsin; two brothers, Chris Voegele and Joey Voegele, both of Peoria and two best friends, Pete Bosworth of Arizona and Christine Anello.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her mother-in-law, Ann Tindall and her dear friend, Tina Byrd.
She worked at Queenwood Car Wash in Morton for 21 years. She will be remembered for her excellent cooking, especially her holiday meals that brought everyone together with joy. Barbara was known to have a “green thumb” and enjoyed taking care of her plants. She loved to spend her nights watching her favorite game show, Jeopardy, and was all around known for bringing joy and fun into the lives of those she loved.
Her memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded.
