

She was born on November 2, 1953 in Pekin. Barbara married Donald “Tuck” Woulfe on February 9, 1981 in Pekin. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2001.
Barbara was also preceded by her mother, Florence Perry; stepfather, Richard Perry, and brother, Benedict "Dick" Riley.
She is survived by her children, Eric (Kim) Madden of Arizona and Amber (Steve) Crowley of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Ryan Madden, Cody (Anna) Heaton and Kyle Heaton, all of Arizona; three grandpups, Minnie, Titan, and Piper, all of Bloomington; sister, Debra (Keith) Pennock of East Peoria; brother, Ken (Tamie) Perry of Easton and many beloved nieces, nephews, and many dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Barbara dedicated her career as a respiratory therapist at Pekin Hospital, caring for others. She took great pride in touching the lives of her patients and helping those in need, leading to many lasting friendships before retiring in 2015.
Barbara was best known for her loving and compassionate personality. She was strong, independent, and always willing to share her thoughts. Her determination and resilience were matched only by her deep devotion to her family. She found her greatest joy in the people she loved and was always willing to lend a hand, offer support, or share a laugh.
Barbara's strength, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy will live on in the family she cherished, the friends she held dear, and the many lives she touched through her compassion and care.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Steve Weber will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral Home. Burial will follow at Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito.
