EAST PEORIA ~ Becky Marie (Houze) O’Laughlin, 57, of East Peoria left this world unexpectedly on April 29, 2026. Born June 13, 1968, in Peoria to Charles and Floetta Houze, she married Robert “Bob” O’Laughlin after being together for 25 years on October 30, 2021. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Floetta; one brother, John (Heather) Houze of Marquette Heights; one son, Kyle Platt; one daughter, Megan Platt; four grandchildren, Ryder, Bella, Jaxson and Jasper; two nephews, Boone (Alyssa) Hall and Clayton Houze; one great-niece Kameryn; one great-nephew, Knox and as well as many others she considered her children.
She left behind a multitude of friends that she considered more as family. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
A gathering celebrating Becky’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
