Born on July 11, 1939 in Elgin, she was a daughter of Fred W. and Ernestine C. (Aurand) Raddatz. She married Buddy Spensor Troxell on June 20, 1959 in Elgin. He died October 8, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, two sisters, and two sons-in-law, Mike Cornwell and Mike Robertson.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Cornwell of Assumption, Tammy (Don Couve) Troxell of Elmwood, Bonnie (Tommy) McClary of Pekin, and Kathy (Gerald) Cox of Manito; thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Bea loved singing in church, she also enjoyed watching baseball and was happy watching Birds.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2026 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Steve Weber will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sand Prairie Cemetery in rural Green Valley.
