She was born February 6, 1939 in Pekin to Ralph and Naomi (Simmons) Norris. Her parents, one son, Timothy Lynch, and three sisters preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, Rick (Lori) Lynch of East Peoria Kevin Lynch and James Lynch, both of Pekin; three daughters, Lynn (Bruce) Beard and Susan (Randy) Curtis, both of Creve Coeur, and Debbie (Roy) Edwards of North Pekin; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A homemaker, Betty was proud to have participated in the Relay for Life.She always looked forward to summertime camping with her family.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2010 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor Tim Livengood will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
