Betty Mann

Born April 10, 1926 in Bader to Earl and Ada (Harman) Miner, she married Harry Mann on June 11, 1962. He died September 23, 1984 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Erna Jean; three sisters and one brother.

Surviving are one son, Henry (Tina Myers) Mann of Manito; one granddaughter, Veronica (Chris Roper) Fleming; one grandson, Steven (Elizabeth Benson) Mann; four great-grandchildren, Albrie, Ryne, Damien and Gabriel; and one brother, Hap Miner of Macomb.

Betty formerly attended the First Church of the Nazarene of Peoria.

She had worked in the laundry at the Pierre Marquette in Peoria for many years, retiring in 1980.

She will be missed by all who knew her as Grandma Betty.

Her visitation will be from 5 to7 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation. Burial of cremated remains will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013 in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with expenses.
