Born June 1, 1944 in Canton to Basil and Wilma (Brooks) Howe, she married Ronald Loos in 1964. They later divorced. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Shirley Lindsey and Janet Bloomfield and one brother, Gary Howe.
Surviving are one daughter, Lynette (Jay Sanders) Fulco of Somonauk; one son, Kenneth (Laura) Loos of Newark and two grandchildren, Alex and Paige Loos.
Bev had worked as Office Manager at Wells Fargo Investments in Peoria.
She was a faithful member of Victorious Life Evangelical Bible Church in East Peoria, for over 45 years. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and fellowshipping with her church family; always available to lend a helping hand, to babysit, make a meal or clean the church. But she especially enjoyed her time working on the Worldwide Victorious Life Bible Teaching Ministry; volunteering to get the Gospel out through the Bible study lessons taught by her dear Bible Teacher, Mrs. Betty Jean Nutter. The victory, peace and joy Bev found in Christ, she wanted others to have, too. She loved the Word of God and even in declining health she could still quote scripture by memory until the very end. She always had a smile on her face, never complained and was always appreciative. Bev was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
Bev is now in Heaven, in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom she loved with all her heart.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor James Schoonover will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Victorious Life Evangelical Church Cemetery in East Peoria.
Memorial contributions may be given to Victorious Life Evangelical Church, 3702 Springfield Road, East Peoria, Illinois 61611.
