Beverly June Huffman

Born July 12, 1939 in Magnolia to James Arthur and Lois (Thompson) Wilson, she married Gary Huffman, Sr. in 1989 in Peoria. He died on June 21, 2002.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, James Wilson and Lois Gadberry.

Surviving are seven children, Debora Lindsay of Minonk, Terry Widmer of Florida, David (Kim) Widmer of Washington. Billy (Sheri) Russell of El Paso, Shannon (Russ) Elkins of Arizona, Gary Huffman, Jr. of Florida, Billy “Joe” (Christie) Huffman of Marquette Heights; her granddaughter and caretaker, Amber (Josh) Fowler; 20 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and one brother, Larry (Diane) Wilson of East Peoria.

Beverly worked in healthcare for many years.

She loved reading, sewing, coloring and crocheting. She also enjoyed watching television, playing bingo and fishing.

Beverly was a member of Victory Baptist Church in East Peoria.

Her graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2022 at Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, Illinois. Pastor John Bunch will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
