Born March 20, 1934 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Herbert and Marie (Woodward) Ogborn, she married Ralph Samuel Ramsey on August 27, 1966. He died September 20, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother in infancy, and two great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Marla Ramsey of Hutsonville; two sons, Kevin Ramsey of Palestine and Ralph (Jennifer) Ramsey, Jr. of Pekin; five grandchildren, Lisa Ramsey, Brad Ramsey, Nicholas Ramsey, Christopher Ramsey, and Taylor Ramsey; and four great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine. The Rev. John Brand will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
