Billy "Bill" N Tittle

PEKIN ~ Billy "Bill" Norman Tittle, 78, of Pekin, passed away at 9:20 a.m., Friday, January 28, 2011 at Pekin Hospital.

Born, August 21, 1932 in Jonesborough, TN to Joe and Lula Pearl (Rogers) Tittle, he married Jeane Williams on September 24, 1960 in Des Moines, IA.  She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Mark (Jean) Tittle of Pekin; two daughters, Scarlett Tittle of TN, Robin (Jerry) Montgomery of Pekin; one grandson, Justin Montgomery of Peoria; one granddaughter, Ashley Tittle of Pekin; and two brothers, Donald (Bea) Tittle of TN and Gene (Jean) Tittle of Johnson City, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Bill was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War.

He worked for Butternut Bread for 35 years, retiring in 1994.

Bill enjoyed working around the house and in his garden.  He also loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

There will be no services or visitation.  Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
