Bradley Lowell Jones

Born November 2, 1950 in Peoria to Wallace Quinton “Moody” and Lila Ann (Brunz) Jones, he married Kenna J. Blake on February 24, 1996 in North Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Christopher Jones of Peoria, Curtis Jones of Florida and Ron (Kelsi) Schwartz, Jr. of Pekin; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Robert “Jake” Jones of North Carolina, Douglas Jones of Peoria and Wallace Jones of Altamont, Kansas; two sisters, Helen Carson of Peoria and Marcia Jones of Peoria and one brother-in-law, Otis (Elizabeth Hoffman) Blake, Jr. of Pekin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Easton Bradley Schwartz; one brother, Jonathan “Kelly” Jones and two sisters, Sharon Reardon and Sherry Reardon.

He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Brad was a retired member of Teamsters & Chauffeurs Union Local 627 in Peoria, working as a warehouseman for Kroger’s for 34 years and retiring from their Indianapolis facility.

He was a life member of American Legion Post 500 in Indianapolis.

Brad loved fishing and playing with his grandkids. He also loved gardening.

His visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2026 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, where military rites will be conducted at 5 p.m. by the United States Army and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.
