She was born on March 9, 1953, in Peoria, a daughter of Glenn Winfred and Jessie Grace (Ales) Snare. Brenda married David Dean Anderson on May 16, 1987, in Creve Coeur. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2018.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Joe and Gordon Allbritton and Robert (Bob) Lee Snare.
Her faith was important to her. Brenda collected coins, baseball cards, and stamps. She loved visiting her friends and traveling with David. Brenda enjoyed word search puzzles, playing cards, board games and pool. She was a member of the Bay View Baptist Church.
Brenda is survived by her stepchildren, Amos (Annette) Anderson of Canton and Alichia Anderson of St. David; one brother, Richard “Rick” Snare of Chillicothe; four step grandchildren, Timothy, Hannah, Andrew and Ariel and one step great-grandchild.
Her visitation will be on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
