Bridget Lee Horn

She was born November 30, 1974 in Pekin to Henry J. and Pam (Graham) Horn.

She was preceded in death by her father. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Patricia and Leroy Graham; paternal grandparents, Henry (Myrtle) Horn and three uncles, Lonnie, Terry, Duane Graham.

Surviving are her mother, Pam Horn of Pekin; one brother, Henry (Angie) J. Horn of Pekin; one aunt, Carla (Kreigh) Look of Pekin; four cousins; Courtney (Jay) Graham and Carrie Whitehead, both of Pekin, Jake Graham of Peoria and Brittany (Josh) Beeney of Peoria Heights.

Prior to an automobile accident in 1993, Bridget attended Pekin Community High School. She was a member of the volleyball team and an award winning artist. She was always an animal lover, bringing home cats and dogs in need of repair and a home.

Bridget lived at home under the care of her mother. She was a past member of the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Group of Peoria.

She loved spending time with family and friends, but most enjoyed shopping trips with her mom and Aunt Carla. Bridget and her mom are truly grateful for all those that supported them over the years in the journey of acquired special needs.

Bridget filled the hearts of those who loved her with sunshine, hope and gratitude. She will be forever missed.

Her celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no visitation or services. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.
