

Born May 5, 1964 at the Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, CA, he was the son of Paul Gene and Ava Darlene (Jackson) Terry. He married Lynn M. Rauthenberg on June 21, 1986 in Marquette Heights. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother of Pekin; two daughters, Ashley L. (Dave Kyle) Terry of South Bend, IN and Alex M. Terry of Pekin; three grandchildren, Cannon Gabriel Kyle, Barley Jackson Kyle and Emmet Alexander Kyle and four sisters, Bonnie (Terry) Dudley of Corydon, IA, Brenda (Gerald) Davis of East Peoria, Beverly (Kevin) Miller of Hutchison, KS and Barbara (Ross) Nunes of Henryville.
He was preceded in death by his father and one granddaughter, Kilona Delanie Kyle.
He had served in the United States Army in Texas and Germany.
Bryon always worked as a diesel mechanic, the past eleven years for Ryder Transportation in Peoria, last working on Tuesday. He previously had worked for General in Peoria and at North Pekin Truck and Trailer.
He was a car show fanatic and was a member of the Central Illinois Street Scene. He could always be found in a garage with friends and family. His passion was rebuilding his 1980 Ford Mustang.
Bryon attended Real Life Church in Marquette Heights.
His family will host a celebration of life gathering from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2015 at Real Life Church in Marquette Heights, with a short service a 6 p.m. led by Pastor Jesse Bartz. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
