Carla L. Jackson

Born January 12, 1955 in Marquette, Michigan to Carl Allen “Bing” and Patricia Ann (Erickson) Bangren, she married George M. Jackson on July 9, 1982 in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are one step-son, Brady (Bianca) Jackson of Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Germany; five grandchildren, Bianca (Matt) Wenck of West Virginia, Brenten Jackson of Virginia, Brylin Jackson, Brayden Jackson and Brycen Jackson, all of Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Germany; two great-grandchildren, Hazel and Zoey and one sister, Lauri (Bob) Shepperd of Pekin.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Carla retired from Herget Bank in Pekin with 20 years of service in 2010.

She loved cooking and baking and also enjoyed working in the yard.

She was a former member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Pekin.

No services or visitation are planned. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
