Born February 29, 1944 in Farmington to Harry Edward and Carrie Elizabeth (Schoonover) Bohm, she married Ronald W. Rumple. She later married Harry C. “Chuck” White on November 19, 1977 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Michelle (Brian) Lhamon of Pekin; one son, Ronald W. “Ron” (Renee) Rumple, II of Pekin; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and two sisters, Brenda (Albert) Jones and Sharon Neff, both of Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Donna Hutton and Vicki Gauwitz and three brothers, Thomas Bohm, Roger Bohm and Robert Bohm.
Carole was proud of her work record and had an entrepreneurial spirit. She formerly owned and operated several businesses including Heights Pizza in Marquette Heights, Leno’s Pizza in Sunnyland, and two consignment stores, named Carrie’s Closet, in East Peoria for more than 20 years. She ended her career as an office manager at Messing Construction.
Carole loved the Lord, was all about family and greatly loved her grandchildren. She especially loved to fish and cook. Carole also loved to travel both short trips or long trips and enjoyed experiencing new places.
No services or visitation are planned at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.

The family is deeply grateful for the loving care provided by her sister, Brenda; her niece, Barb; her great nephew, Coby and for each and every nurse at Methodist who cared for her.
