Carolyn Sue Hand

She was born August 13, 1946, in Ava, Illinois to Gilbert and Opal (Reames) Hand. Her parents preceded her in death.

Surviving are her three daughters; Sherrie (Dale) Rawson of Murphysboro, Michelle (Dennis) Prater of Manito and Stephanie Rawson of Morton; seven grandchildren, Ashlea Miller, Patrick Durst, Corey Jesse and Noah Ruble, Paula Emmons, Timothy Eades, and Jay Ridings; 11 great-grandchildren; one nephew, Harley (Olivia) Hand and one brother, James (Paula) Hand of Murphysboro.

Carolyn had worked as an insurance agent with Bishop & Elwell for several years.

She enjoyed tending to her vegetable garden and canning what she grew. Her dog, Marti, was very dear to her.

There will be no services at this time. Cremation has been entrusted with Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
