Born November 16, 1956 in Pekin to Vern and Agnes (Johns) Slagel. They preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her two sisters; Agnes Adams, Laura McClister, one brother; Charles Slagel.
Surviving are one son, Tony Slagel of Pekin; two daughters, Sonia (Lance Hauk) Adame of Pekin, Serena (Michael Graham) Tamayo of Peoria; 13 grandchildren, and a beloved cat Chango.
She loved fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was a cat lover and enjoyed collecting cat figurines.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday October 25, 2020 at Sangalli's Italian Steakhouse, 2217 Court Street, Pekin, Illinois, 61554.
