Christy Ann Fisher

Christy was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and beacon of strength and love. She was born on October 14, 1970, to Kenneth and Addie Fisher. Christy left us too soon on March 5, 2026.

Christy was best described as loving and feisty, always lighting up the room with her infectious laughter and love for fun. Despite the challenges life threw at her, Christy faced them with unwavering determination and always adorned with her signature, radiant smile. Her courage was an inspiration to those lucky enough to have known her.

She leaves behind her sisters, Roxanne Berchtold (Robert) and Kimberly Garrard, her nieces Samantha Osborne, Evalynn Garrard, Rowan Garrard, and her nephews Wesley Garrard (Whitney), Nicholas Garrard (Ashley), Coleman Rigdon, and Reece Rigdon.

Christy's legacy will be remembered not only through the lives of those she directly impacted, but also as a shining example of overcoming life's trials and tribulations with courage, optimism, and a whole lot of love.

She was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and rarely missed a chance to tease St. Louis Cardinal fans. Her home and heart were always full of love for her beloved pets—Gizmo, Baby Doll, and Peanut—who brought her endless joy and companionship. She found happiness in listening to country music. Above all else, her deepest passion was her faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, which guided her life and inspired the kindness, strength, and love she shared with everyone around her.

Christy lived her life with a fierce determination and a joyful spirit that will be forever missed but will continue to inspire those who were privileged to know her.

Cremation Rites have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There are no services scheduled at this time.
