Christy was a very special lady. She was so easy to talk to and she had a special gift of making people feel at ease and appreciated. She loved her family very much and her grandchildren meant everything to her. I only knew her a short while, but considered her a dear friend. That's the kind of person she was. May she rest in peace.

To Bill and the girls,
I am sorry to hear of Christy's passing. She was like a mom to me when I worked with her at OSFMG w/ Dr Hippler and Dr Casado. You girls were still in Jr High-High School and I was just married and starting my family. She was the sweetest person ever. She gave me advice about marriage, motherhood, and life in general. We have kept in touch over the past 20+ years. She talked about all of you and how proud she was. She told me about her grandbabies and retirement. I am at a loss. I cant imagine what you are all feeling. She is a beautiful angel watching over all of you now. God Bless.

Christy was such a wonderful, caring, loving and loyal friend. I grew up with Christy starting with St. Peteris Lutheran Church in Glasford, Il. We went to Sunday school and services with each other and our families. We also went to middle school and high school together and stayed friends forever. I also grew up with hubby Bill in Kingston Mines, Il. They were a very special couple always kind to friends and classmates. I know she gained her eternal wings on Thursday morning. Still in disbelief that she has passed on I sat last night remembering memories we made as we grew up. We just talked about Christmas Eve. services at church on FB! I am truly blessed to have known her and shared our lives together. My deepest sympathy to Bill and all of her family. Praying for strength, love and His Grace for all of you at this time. Rest in Peace dear Christy...you will be missed.
