Connie C. Cross

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Lloyd Waggoner; son, Gary Price; four sisters, Bonnie Bush, Neva Evans, Mary Sheppard, and Janet Smithee; three brothers, Harold (Esther) Cross, Earl Cross, and Buck Cross; and two half-sisters, Sandy Morris and Joyce Morris.

Connie is survived by her son, Kelly (Lawanna Chriswell) Price of Pekin; her daughter, Tammy McCreary of Pekin; six grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

She was a housekeeper for Ed Moehle for 24 years. Connie also worked for Derby Street Laundry and Spudnut Bakery for many years. She last worked for the Illinois Department of Rehabilitation as a personal assistant for 18 years, retiring in 2002.

Connie loved to play Bingo and being with people.

Connie's funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home in Pekin. Her visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am also on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin.
